Waiting for baby week 34

We're getting close to go time for Baby, so like many other young families out there we're starting a blog to keep our friends, loved ones and anyone else who stumbles upon us in the know. How frequently we'll remember to update is any one's guess. I'm feeling ambitious at the moment, but seeing as the baby is still on the inside I cannot be overly certain of how awesome I will be 6 weeks from now.

The picture on the right is the nursery thus far. We've got a few more things to do to make it more magical, but if Baby arrives today, she's certainly got a place to sleep. Thanks to the generosity of our recent Tallahassee baby shower, she will also have some cute clothes, fun things to play with, super soft blankets, and some very handy nursery essentials. We're really excited and grateful for all the generosity that's been sent in our direction!

Today my workplace is throwing a joint shower for me and another expectant coworker after which I'm off to the doctor for my 34 week checkup. Fingers crossed, all has been well so far, and as we get to the finish line I hope our good luck and good health continue.

Here I am on Sunday(sporting my awesome new scarf from Debbie). There's no denying that baby girl is growing!
